Sherman Mack for
District Attorney
Former Louisiana State Representative Sherman Mack is running for District Attorney of the 21st Judicial District, which includes Livingston, St. Helena and Tangipahoa parishes. Sherman is a Republican from Livingston Parish with strong ties to St. Helena and Tangipahoa parishes. Mack is the senior member of the Mack Law Firm, the largest law firm in Livingston Parish.

Proven Leadership
Sherman is a former lawmaker in the Louisiana Legislature, where he was a proven leader for criminal justice, pro-life and pro-second amendment issues. He was appointed chairman of the Louisiana House of Representatives Criminal Justice Committee, where he worked on legislation and policy sponsored by the Louisiana Attorney Generals’ Office and Louisiana District Attorney’s Association. He was instrumental in helping Jeff Landry keep the death penalty in Louisiana, and he led the fight to keep New Orleans from becoming a sanctuary city.
Sherman’s legislative experience as a criminal justice leader coupled with 25 years of civil and criminal litigation experience make him uniquely qualified to be our next District Attorney. Sherman has successfully represented thousands of cases in district, state and federal courts, including serving as the lead attorney on major felony and jury trials. His experience, talent and legal knowledge have garnered him much success in the courtroom, allowing him to build the largest law firm in Livingston Parish.
Sherman is guided by his faith to always act with honesty, professionalism and a commitment to doing the right thing. That work ethic has afforded him the sound judgment to ensure fair and just outcomes for clients and victims he has represented, as well as strong and swift action against those who would harm members of our community.
Sherman and his wife Angela have been married for 30 years. They have three sons – Chris, Chase, and Connor.

This election is an opportunity for me to serve and give back to the people who have given me so much over the years. As your next District Attorney, I will always remember where I came from and work to ensure every person is afforded respect and justice under the law.
